In a race against the clock, our experienced Wireless Services Operations team worked diligently to build out six brand new rooftop sites surrounding Houston’s NRG park area to enhance outdoor coverage throughout the rodeo grounds. Each six-sector site propagates 1900, 2100 and 2500 to serve the thousands of data-hungry rodeo attendees. Enhanced coverage throughout the grounds eased pressure on the app-based ticketing system and ensured a seamless guest experience.
Within NRG stadium itself, both Houston Rodeo and NCAA fans benefitted from a 12 – 24 sector expansion to a SOLiD mid-power solution. With over 2.5 million visitors for the rodeo and a completely sold-out stadium for the NCAA Men’s Final Four, we are thrilled with the successful execution of this project.
