The MobileAccess 6000 platform offered key advantages—such as support for all sub-6 GHz spectrum (including C-band and 3.45 GHz), a compact digital architecture, and scalability in high-density environments—that made it uniquely suited for a complex venue like CLT. As a result of this partnership and technology choice, the deployment delivered dramatic performance improvements—including 6x increases in average download speeds and significantly enhanced upload capacity—while maintaining stability during peak usage. Wireless Services’ ability to pair the right OEM with a fiber-to-the-edge (FTTE) design enabled a network that not only meets current demands but also positions CLT for future expansion, including upcoming outdoor DAS coverage.
